Jorlena Dermody, CPA - Accountanting Manager

Jorlena officially joined the Jayd Advisors' team in 2015, after working as a seasonal employee during the 2014 filing season. She works extensively with the tax department as well as serves our not-for-profit clients. As a Certified QuickBooks® Online ProAdvisor, she offers our clients a variety of QuickBooks bootcamp options.

Before joining the firm, Jorlena worked as an Advisor Assistant for a Certified Financial Planner. In addition to her tax planning and advising responsibilities, she developed skills for calculating the tax implication of financial decisions.

Education background includes a Master of Science in Accounting from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business as well as a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Elementary Education from Indiana University.

Jorlena is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society.

Busy with three children, two dogs and one cat, Jorlena loves to read and listen to audiobooks to learn, grow and take on DIY projects.
